Litter
Spring 2010
We are intending to have a litter this Spring.

August 2010
Nothing much happening here at Carnmellis over the winter months. We have had quite a few good frosts which will hopefully kill any bugs in the garden. Doug won Best of Breed at shows at the end of July. Other than that, we are looking forward to longer days and fine weather.

Weimaraner National Adelaide
May 2010
At the Weimaraner National judged by the German Breed Warden Carnmellis Bravo Ashlaren won Reserve Dog and Carnmellis Jovita Ashlaren won Reserve Bitch and went on to win Best Junior In Show.
July 2010
Rio's son Ch Graysville Art N Motion wins Reserve of Group (Group 2).
September 2010
Rio's daughter Carnmellis Ramira Ashlaren wins Reserve CC and Reserve of Breed at Adelaide Royal 2010. Well done to Erin (her handler) and Graham her owner.

I started showing in the early 1960’s with Labradors, then English Cocker
Spaniels (my greatest love of dogs) making up many champions in solid and
parti-colours, including specialty best in shows and all breeds.
Handled the record holding BIS winning
I have owned and shown Rough Coated Collies for 18 years making up many champions in all three colours, many being group and in-show winners.
I now own Weimaraners with my wife Pip, under the Carnmellis prefix,
For a number of years we have been associated with and showing
Dobermanns for a friend.
Gained
All Breeds License in 1988 and have judged Best In Show All Breeds Championship
Shows 45 times. Since starting to
judge at Championship Shows I have judged over 40,000 dogs in nine countries.
In 1996, I judged three shows in the USA, these being the Yankee Weimaraner Speciality; Part Gundogs, (English Cockers, English Springers, Clumbers, Field Spaniels, Irish Setters, German Shorthaired Pointers, German Wirehaired Pointers, Labradors and English Pointers); Part of the Herding Group including Best of Group; (Welsh Corgies, Cardigan Corgies, Old English and Belgium Shepherds) at Ladies and Framingham All Breeds Championship Shows.

I have been a Mediator for the New Zealand Kennel Club and on the Waikato Disciplinary hearing Committee for the New Zealand Kennel Club. At present I am the Waikato/BOP Area Delegate.
