Rio lived with Scott Fletcher and his family for many years and whilst with them, became an extremely happy and well adjusted dog that has fitted into his new home in New Zealand as though he has always lived here.

Prior to departing the USA, Rio went for a quick trip to Canada where he stayed with Shelley Shorrock (Graymyre), who showed him for his Canadian title.  Since being in New Zealand Rio has been a busy boy, being the sire of two litters and has been shown to his NZ title, along the way winning Reserve of Group.
